After his Buffalo-area district was flooded with mail pieces attempting to pressure State Sen. Mark Grisanti to support using tax dollars to pay for state political campaigns, Senator Grisanti, a Republican, articulated his strong opposition to this proposal, arguing that it is nothing more than a give-away to special interests at the expense of taxpayers while doing little in the way of cleaning up political corruption in Albany.
